The Radiologists and professional staff at Desert Reflections Imaging Center have extensive education, training and experience. Our Radiologists are Board Certified by either the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology. In addition, many have been fellowship trained in their specific areas of expertise.
Each radiologist has completed a core educational program that consists of the following:
- Four-year pre-med undergraduate degree from a college or university
- Four-year Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from a medical school
- One-year internship
- Three or four-year residency in Radiology
- Optional one- or two-year fellowship in a subspecialty imaging area
