| Q: What is the "Building a Healthier Community" capital campaign? | | A: Casa Grande Regional Medical Center (CGRMC) is conducting a campaign to raise $4 million in our community. The campaign will raise funds to expand and renovate the hospital's Emergency Department (ED) | |
| | |
| |
| Q: Why do we need to expand the Emergency Department? | | A: Our Emergency Department is over 20 years old and is functioning at 150% of capacity. Casa Grande's population is expected to double during the next five years and Pinal County's population is projected to exceed 250,000 by 2012. Within 5 years of moving into a community, virtually ALL families will "touch" or be touched by hospital emergency services. During new resident's first year nearly 1 in 5 will have to visit the Emergency Department. Casa Grande Regional Medical Center's Emergency Department was a "state of the art" facility when it was built, but that was over two decades ago. To maintain our position as medical leader for all residents living between Phoenix and Tucson we must invest in our future. | |

| |
| Q: How much money do we need to raise? | | A: The "Building a Healthier Community" campaign goal is $4 million over five years. The total cost of the Emergency Department Expansion Project is $10 million. | |
| | |
| |
| Q: What is the plan and time table for the Emergency Department Expansion Project? | | A: The planning and design phase is underway. Plans call for adding 12,000 square feet (doubling the current size) and refurbishing the existing 12,000 square feet. Ground breaking is planned during 2007 and construction is projected to take 12-18 months. | |

| |

Remember, we will accept cash, checks, credit cards, stocks, land or in-kind gifts. Gifts made to the campaign will be collected over the 5-year redemption period unless specified otherwise.

| |
| Q: What recognition will donors receive? | | A: We will install a donor wall for everyone who wishes to be recognized for the gift they make to the "Building a Healthier Community" campaign. Gift levels are outlined on the online gift card. | |

| |
| Q: Will CGRMC contribute to the Emergency Department Expansion Project? | | A: We are committed to contributing the amount needed over and above the projected $4 million raised through the capital campaign to fund this $10 million project. In fact, internal donations to the campaign from our board, physicians, employees, volunteers and a campaign lead gift already total more than $3,000,000! | |

Should circumstances improve, you may also increase your gift in the future.
