Safety First: CGRMC Crusading to Take Precautions Against Errors, Infections to Higher Level

In an effort to create the safest environment possible for every patient entering the hospital and all of its auxiliary facilities, the folks at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center, for the past year and a half, have been engaging in a safety crusade.

This is designed not only to initiate additional safety precautions but to tighten down all the proven, highly effective prophylactic measures that have already been in place. CGRMC has gone a step further to increase the effectiveness of those measures with redundancy programs such as the “Time Out” checklist and the “Hands Off Report from the DSU” (outpatient surgery).
