Our Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for patients needing emergency care. We work hard to make your wait time as short as possible, striving to have patients see a physician within 30 minutes of arrival. Our facility is staffed by Board Certified and Board Eligible Emergency Physicians, as well as Physician's Assistants.  We are Joint Commission Accredited and Medicare Certified. When to visit the Emergency Department

Life-threatening emergencies and serious trauma require an immediate visit to the hospital. Emergency departments offer inpatient care, emergency services, trauma services, and more. Emergency clinicians are able to recognize, diagnose, and make recommendations for a wide array of medical issues.

Call 911 or drive to the emergency department whenever conditions cause severe symptoms and/or put your health at serious risk. Examples include heart attacks, poisoning, severe bleeding and broken bones. Below is a list of conditions for which you should seek immediate attention:

  • Broken bones (other than fingers/toes)
  • Chest pain
  • Inability to breathe
  • Lack of responsiveness
  • Loss of consciousness
  • Numbness, paralysis of an arm or leg
  • Oppressive squeezing in the chest
  • Overdose of any medication
  • Poisoning
  • Seizures
  • Severe burns
  • Severe shortness of breath
  • Sudden slurring of speech
  • Uncontrolled bleeding

 

Billing
