The Wound Center
The Wound Center is a comprehensive outpatient center designed for the treatment of non-healing or difficult wounds. Patients may refer themselves or a physician may refer their patients to The Wound Center for comprehensive wound care management by a qualified team of professionals. This team includes physicians with advanced training in wound management and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, nursing staff trained in the care of acute and chronic wounds, and experienced staff to assist with appointments. The Wound Center provides a thorough diagnostic examination of the wound and the patient through the use of evidence based clinical practice, dressing and adjunct wound treatments. A comprehensive and individual treatment plan is then developed and communicated to the referring physician. The Wound Center also has two state of the art hyperbaric chambers, with space for a third chamber in the future, for wounds that do not respond to other types of treatment.
